The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)17 Goals and 169 targets:

“We, the Heads of State and Government and High Representatives, meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 25-27 September 2015 as the Organization celebrates its seventieth anniversary, have decided today on new global Sustainable Development Goals.” (source: https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/post2015/transformingourworld)

Who’s Agenda? That is a question which is asked in 17 episodes of a pod cast published by CSR Sweden => http://www.csrsweden.se/agendapodden/ I think this question is very well put because it is important to understand that the SDGs Agenda is everyone’s Agenda.  Compared to their predecessors, “the millennium development goals”, the SDGs do not only apply to developing countries but require all nations to reflect on how to work towards them. Gender inequality, social inequality, gaps between rich and poor, rising unemployment, environmental challenges etc., are burdens for all countries, developed and developing countries.  The aim of the SDGs is that every nation, company, school, private and public organization and each and every one of us, should act on these goals to foster a secure and sustainable livelihood for all.
